Welcome to NW British Cat Cattery. We appreciate your interest in our British Kittens and share your enthusiasm with respect to this fascinating breed.

We are small house based British Chinchilla Cat cattery located in Sandy Oregon, in a short distance from Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington. It is our hobby, and we give it a lot of love and passion.

We breed shorthair and longhair purebreed British kittens in silver shaded and golden shaded colors. Color codes: NS1133, NS11, NS12, NY11, NY12, AY11, AY12, BY11.

We are a registered TICA breeder and adhere to all of their breeding requirements and Code of Ethics.

Our British Shorthair Queens delivery 1-2 times per year that ensures their recovery time and optimal health for kittens and mothers.

Our British Shorthair Sires participate with kittens socialization when kittens are old enough to be around adult cat.

Our cats are important members of our family and get lots of love and attention. All of our cats & kittens are raised as part of our family, running and playing freely in our home near children and other cats.

All kittens of NW British Cat Cattery are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of Sale. We provide a 6 months genetic health guarantee.

All of our kittens are socialized with children and other cats, get dewormed, receive preventative treatments for fleas and receive first FVRCP vaccinations.

We offer owner support for the life of the kitten. We’ll be happy to answer your questions best to our knowledge.

We request that all purchased kittens are taken to a local veterinarian to be examined and establish care within 3 days of purchase.

We provide 30 days free pet insurance for all kittens leaving our cattery.

We support spaying and neutering. It is required by our contract that kitten is spayed/ neutered between 6 and 8 month of age. This prevents spraying in heat cycles, unintentional litters, minimizes changes of cancer and other illness. We provide with TICA registration upon receiving a Vet proof of Spay/ Neuter.

Our cattery offers pure breed beautiful British shorthair and longhair kittens in Silver and Gold shaded colors, with deep blue or green eyes, plush soft coats, extremely adorable and affectionate. Our cats and kittens are registered with TICA. All our kittens are ready for the new home at 11-14 weeks. We have kittens with best breed characteristics at affordable prices. We raise the kittens among our family, so they are very sociable and easily adapt to their new homes.

Our British cats have the origins of the European Champion bloodlines, are genetically tested and free of common genetic diseases, such as Felv/ Fiv/ HW, Porphyria, PKD, Autoimmune Lymphoproliferative Syndrome, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Hyperplasia, Hemophilia and many others. Testing results can be provided upon request.

British Chinchilla

One of the most luxurious British Shorthair Breeds is considered a British Chinchilla. This is a breed of cat with a particular coloring of hair and bright blue or green eyes. Chinchillas are very healthy, calm and affectionate cat, they love to play with adults and children, adjust easy to any new environment and schedule, they easily make friendships with smaller breed dogs and other cats.

When you inquire about a kitten, please tell us about yourself, where you are located, if you have kids or other animals, if you are familiar with British shorthair breed, if anyone has known allergy to cats.

To reserve a kitten we require $500 non-refundable deposit. The deposit is part of the cat/ kitten price.
